Apple 12" MacBook Keyboard Keys Replacement (Butterfly) 2015 - 2016

Installation process was a breeze and it's a perfect replacement. I couldn't be happier

One of the keys arrived damaged, but was replaced no questions asked. The keys work fine, but installation instructions for a 12'' MacBook would have helped a lot. There might be some in one of the videos on this site, but I didn't find it. That being said, you need to pry the top of the key off first, then flip the top of the key toward you. Otherwise, you might break the hinges on the bottom of the key. (The top of the keys click in and out of the keyboard, but the bottom has hinges.)

Apple wanted more then $200 to change the upper part of my MacBook 12 just for one key... replacement laptop saved me lot of money.

I had to replace my A key due to the paint chipping off. The replacement key was an exact match and even comes with the butterfly mechanism.

The butterfly key mechanism on the 2015 MacBook is a brilliant innovation, albeit bitter sweet. When it works, it's outstanding, but more-so than other key mechanisms, they will get stuck and lose their tactile quality. This kept happening to my tab key, and even though it worked fine, I needed the tactile feedback. I picked at it one to many times and one day it broke. I'm a programmer and I NEED the tab key. These guys were able to overnight me one for a modest price, and from what I can tell, the part is genuine OEM. Identical in color, weight, and size to the original. Replacementlaptopkeys.com was the only seller with individual keys, but it turns out they were the only one I needed. Thanks guys!

Same quality as the original, very fast delivery.   Apple does not offer the purchase of some keys and where I live they should have $ 450 to replace the entire keyboard, so here I saved a fortune.
