1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language
Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.
NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

I wish I had done this months ago
When my A key fell off, i tried to adapt, but it's a really important key and it was such a pain for months and months. Finally i stumbled upon replacement laptop keys. They make it easy to figure out which exact replacement key to order, and installation is easy even for a tech dummy like me. I can't believe how simple this was! I have been telling all my friends so that they know what to do when the same thing happens to them.

Works great, looks great, the installation video was helpful. The only tricky part was figuring out which version I needed to order. The site uses pictures of the flexible pads that go under the key to show which version you need, but my kids had already lost the pads.

need better instructions
a perfectly good key, but getting it on was confusing. The video went too fast and was not detailed enough. I am generally tech-savvy so this difficulty surprised me. I found better instructions on a different website.

Product Met My Expectations
I purchased the "N" key for a late model MacBook. It was not pristine(and was not expected to be), but matches the rest of the keyboard well. The delivery to South Korea took longer than expected, but was probably due to being an international delivery, and the fact that it is nearly Christmas time and the postal services frequently get overloaded at this time of year.
