1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

THANK GOD FOR THIS WEBSITE!
Once again, THANK GOD. I broke my D key in half from gaming... called Dell hoping they could send me a replacement. Nope, had to send my laptop in to get the WHOLE keyboard "fixed," which would have cost us a couple hundred dollars. It was a big mistake calling them in the first place because now that they know my laptop is "damaged," I can't renew my insurance? Oh well. I really like this laptop but f*ck you, Dell.

Replacement Keys for Dell Laptop
Exactly what I ordered and needed. Arrived quickly and intact. In the process of replacing, part of the plastic hinge broke right in the middle. I don't have much experience replacing keys so I don't know if this is a common problem with this type of hinge, unusual, or due to user error. Was still able to replace the key, just took some finagling. :)

Good replacement keys
Ordered a replacement key for my laptop. They didn't have the keycap that I ordered in stock, and they let me know before my order shipped. Only my key hinge was broken, so it was all good. I could use any replacement key that's the same size, and just use the new hinge, and it's still a good fit. I'm glad I don't have to deal with a broken key any longer.
