1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.
NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

Dell XPS Key
Was told by a few repair people that the whole keyboard would have to be replaced, but then I found this website. Replacements process was super simple. Totally worth it!

Key fit perfect. Install video could have been better, buy found one on youtube. Took less than 2 mins to replace key. Life is so much better not having to correct missing or duplicated "S"s. Thanks. Would buy again.

Absolute perfect replacement key
I can't believe how much time I wasted hunting around and going without the key I needed for my Dell laptop. I found these guys right away but kept thinking I was going to find something on eBay for a dollar. Exactly what I needed
I was giving my keyboard heavy use and one of the keys popped off. When I tried to fix it, I broke it (and another one in the process). My keyboard had two black eyes and I had little hope it could be fixed. Microcenter told me I had to replace the whole keyboard! So I searched the internet and found replacementlaptopkeys.com. I found my model and the keys that I needed. They arrived (eventually) and I was pleasantly surprised that they were exactly the same keycaps, hinges, and cups as the original. I snapped on the new key and my keyboard was as good as new! You'd never know that my keyboard ever had black eyes. Thank you for saving my laptop!
