HOW TO ORDER
How to search:
When looking for the missing key for your laptop, the best option is to use the search bar on the upper right hand corner,
when entering in your laptop model, you will get the best results by entering full model number.
Take for example, when looking for a sony vgn-nr110e keys, it is best to use the full model number of VGN-NR110E
rather than NR or NR110E.
How to identify which KEY TYPE you have:
Even though the same model of laptop, through out the production life, it will often use different versions
of the keyboard, although they may look exactly the same on the outside, the retainer clips under the key cap
will often be different, so please pay attention to the retainer KEY TYPE when ordering.
Lets look at an example below.
Here is a HP Pavilion G-60, silver keyboard with a numberpad, both units looks identical.
It even share the same exact HP replacement part number
The same model laptop, same keyboard, often times will use different retainer clips, and this is why when ordering,
please pay close attention to what retainer KEY TYPE you need.
Retainer KEY TYPE (HC29) Retainer KEY TYPE (HC30)
In the event that your retainer on your current laptop is missing, you can still identify the retainer you need by matching up
the metal prongs.
When you look at the product detail page, you will see the KEY TYPE chart like this one below, for missing keys such as A,B,C you want to look at REGULAR, larger keys such as ENTER, SHIFT, and CAP LOCK, you want to look at LARGE, and for smaller keys like F1, Arrow Keys, you will want to compare them to the SMALL.
