The tough ThinkPad T480 laptop designed for serious business still need a little TLC, the letter and number on the key cap still need replacing especially after heavy use, and if the key cap have come off it maybe due to a bad hinge clip or broken tabs on the back of the key, we believe there are 5 to 6 different versions of the hinge clip for this keyboard, but please note we only carry 4 of the more popular versions so it is important to check the chart below and match up the versions that fits yours and fill in this info in step 2 above.

The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.

Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
