Zagg makes some of the greatest keyboard covers for the apple iPad, they made lots of models and frankly its rather hard to tell which model is which, so we made a simple chart to order the correct keyboard key replacement.
Hint: If your hinge clip is black, most likely you have Z1, if your keyboard is Backlit, you should have version Z5 Z4 and Z5 is basically the same, except Z5 is Backlit.

1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.

Keyboard Wearout
Love the keyboard, but after 8 months of typing on an original Zagg iPad keyboard... the letter decals wore off on four of the most used keyboard keys... maybe an epoxy paint would work... I ordered a replacement keyboard... Let's see how long the letter decals last.
